Fishing

Fishing in Tiablo isn't just for casual relaxation. It's a rewarding system with rare catches, alchemy materials, and powerful consumable buffs. With the right rod, skill, and a bit of luck, you can haul in magic-infused fish that provide significant temporary bonuses.

🧡 How Fishing Works

To fish, simply use a fishing rod on a body of water. No worms are required, this is a pure skill- and equipment-based system.

Every fishing attempt has three possible outcomes:

  • Catching a normal fish.

  • Catching a Magic Fish (with buffs).

  • Finding Magic Seaweed (used in alchemy).

The chance of each outcome depends on your Fishing Skill, your rod type, and random luck.

🎣 Fishing Rods & Tiers

There are multiple rods available, each with different chances to catch high-tier fish and rare alchemy materials:

🐟 Magic Fish

Magic Fish are special fish that, when consumed, grant temporary stat boosts based on their rarity and tier.

  • Duration: 15 minutes (900 seconds)

  • Effect: Applies a buff with a custom name, particle effect, and stat bonuses.

  • Stats: Magic Fish roll random item-like attributes (same as equipment bonuses), scaled by rarity and tier.

  • Rarity range: Uncommon β†’ Mythic (no Angelic rarity)

  • Tier range: 1 β†’ 4, scaling the magnitude of stat rolls

Players cannot consume another Magic Fish while a buff is still active.

🌿 Alchemy Materials: Magic Seaweed

Even when you don’t catch a fish, your rod might dredge up Magic Seaweed, a valuable material used in alchemy recipes.

  • Chance scales with Fishing Skill

  • Higher-tier rods increase base seaweed drop rate

  • You can receive multiple seaweed in one cast at high skill levels

πŸ“ˆ Skill Training

Fishing contributes directly to your Fishing Skill:

  • +10 tries when catching a Magic Fish

  • +5 tries when finding seaweed

  • +2 tries when catching a regular fish

  • +1 try per failed attempt

Your skill directly influences:

  • Magic Fish rarity

  • Fish tier

  • Alchemy material drop rate

  • Catch success rate
